Course Description
Be introduced to the world of coffee through this government-funded course and learn to see coffee in a different light. Pick up skills to help you become a smarter consumer of coffee and be equipped with fundamental skills in coffee-making!
Course Outline (24 hours)
- Overview of coffee and coffee species
- Understanding the agricultural process of coffee
- Experiential learning on appropriate coffee grind size and different popular brewing methods
- Fundamental technique on proper espresso extraction and milk frothing
- Fundamental pouring technique for milk-based espresso beverages
- Knowledge on commonly-served beverages and basic coffee-selling skills
- Equipment knowledge, safety and maintenance

Course Fee – S$850.00
- Course fee includes all training materials and ingredients
- An SSG Statement of Attainment (SOA) certificate will be issued if all minimum assessment requirements are met
